Author Guidelines

Submission Preparation Checklist

All manuscripts and any supplementary material should be submitted via PIJPH Submission System or through the email to Eidtor-In-Cheif.  Authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Before submission, the manuscript has to be prepared according to the format the PIJPH template format.
  • LaTex paper is also acceptable for publication, but it should be in PDF for review first.
  • Manuscripts should be written in English. Title, author(s), emails, and affiliations should all be included on a title page as the first page of the manuscript file, followed by a 150-300 word abstract and 3-5 keywords.

Word Limits

PIJSSH has no limit on the number of words.

Article layout guide

Font: Times New Roman, 12-point, single-line spaced. Use margins of at least 2.5 cm (or 1 inch). ( we recommend using the ( PIJPH Template)

Title: The Article Title which uses Size-16, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns, Line Spacing, Fixed-12pt.

Paragraph: uses spacing: above Paragraph-6pt, below Paragraph-6pt.

Abstract: The abstract paragraph is unstructured; the abstract word limits typically range from 150 to 300 words. Use of abbreviations should be avoided and the references should not be cited in the abstract.

Keywords: Please provide keywords to help readers find your article which uses low case, comma. The keywords typically range from 3 to 5.

Headings: Please indicate the level of the section headings in your article:

  • First-level headings should be in bold, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.
  • Second-level headings should be in bold italics, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.
  • Third-level headings should be in italics, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.

Tables :  Tables should be in an editable form rather than image version.

Figures: all figures or photographs must be submitted as (jpg ,png,tif) files with distinct characters and symbols at 600 dpi resolution at minimum.

Equations: Equations should be in an editable form rather than image version.

References: -     All references should be formatted in APA style in the text and listed in the REFERENCES section

Submission of a manuscript to the respective journals implies that all authors have read and agreed to the content of the Covering Letter or the Terms and Conditions. It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to a journal have not been published and will not be simultaneously submitted or published elsewhere.

Privacy Statement

The data including names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

The information gathered from both registered and non-registered users of this journal is standard practice in peer-reviewed journals. It contains information that facilitates editorial communication; it is used to inform readers about authorship and content editing; and it allows for the collection of aggregated data on readership behaviors, as well as the tracking of geopolitical and social aspects of scholarly communication.
